Frequently asked questions
How many ik Point devices can I add to Apple Find My, Google Find Hub, and the | inthesk | app?
You can add up to 32 items to Apple Find My, including shared items and accessories like ik Point. Google Find Hub does not have a publicly specified limit for the number of Bluetooth devices you can add, but we've successfully tested with over 32 ik Point devices.
For the | inthesk | app, we recommend adding a maximum of 6 ik Points if using an Android device and up to 9 if using an iPhone. We suggest only adding ik Points where you truly need extra features, like the Call Your Phone function.
Can ik Point work with both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub networks simultaneously?
No. ik Point works with only one network at a time—either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub. But don’t worry! Both networks have millions of devices that can help you locate your items quickly.
To switch networks, you can reset the tracker by removing it from the current app (and the | inthesk | app) and then reconnecting it from another device. A bonus: ik Point makes a great gift since you don’t need to worry about the recipient’s device type.
Simultaneous use of both networks isn’t possible due to Apple and Google’s policies and the incompatibility between Apple Find My and Google Find Hub.
How is ik Point different from previous | inthesk | trackers?
Unlike previous models from | inthesk |, ik Point is a universal locator in terms of connectivity, compatible with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub.
Hardware improvements include an extra-loud ringer, longer range, water and dust resistance (IP67 certified), and recycled materials.
The ik Point runs on a replaceable coin cell battery that lasts up to 1.5 years, although we also have rechargeable battery finders.
Why do I need the | inthesk | app?
The | inthesk | app is a free companion app that offers additional location features for your family as well as Safe360 roadside protection. While Apple and Google apps help you find your items, the | inthesk | app unlocks new features, such as:

Which phones are compatible with ik Point?
ik Point works with Android phones (via Google Find Hub) and iPhones (via Apple Find My).
For Android, your phone must run Android 9 or later and have Google Play Services.
For iPhones, you’ll need iOS 14.5 or later. We recommend using the latest iOS version.
If you want to take advantage of additional EXTRA features, install the | inthesk | app, which includes ik Safe360 and is free and compatible with both Android and iPhone (NOT compatible with ik Point).
Which app does ik Point work with?
ik Point works with Apple Find My on iPhones, Google Find Hub on Android phones, and the | inthesk | app on both.
For Google Find Hub, your Android must run at least Android 9 and have Google Play Services.
For iPhones, iOS 14.5 or later is required. We recommend the latest iOS, iPadOS, or macOS versions. For Apple Watch, the latest watchOS is needed.
Do I need two apps to use ik Point?
No, you only need one app. For iPhones, simply add it to Apple Find My. For Android, use Google Find Hub (which may need to be downloaded first).
If you want EXTRA family protection features, we recommend installing the free | inthesk | app (NOT compatible with ik Point). This app allows you to provide security, peace of mind and tranquillity for yourself and your whole family... but not only that, much more besides.
Are ik Points sold separately?
Yes. Each ik Point comes in its own box and can be used or gifted independently.
For example, a 4-pack includes four individual boxes—perfect for sharing with forgetful friends or family.
What is your return and refund policy?
You can return ik Points for a full refund to your original payment method within 15 days of receipt.
Items must be returned in good condition and in their original packaging.
| inthesk | does not cover return shipping costs and reserves the right to deny returns after 15 days.
